How to prepare for your next makeup session:

1. HYDRATE. Hydration comes from within, make sure you’re drinking your water.. especially the week leading up to your photoshoot/event. Often times when skin is dry, we’re not drinking enough water 🫣. Trust me, I’m pretty guilty of this myself, one thing that’s helped me is adding some fruits into my water.. so delicious and refreshing! And don’t forget.. Moisturize your skin with your favorite lotion/oil and wear SPF daily.

2. REMOVE UNWANTED HAIR. this includes, upper lip, eyebrows, peach fuzz. It’ll make a huge difference! Makeup will emphasize hair and removal of peach fuzz on your cheeks will make your skin look more flawless.

3. EXFOLIATE. exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells. It improves the appearance of skin tone and radiance, creating a fresh, revitalized glow!

4. SHOW US YOUR INSPIRATION PHOTOS. We love inspo photos! When searching for makeup looks on Pinterest, be sure to search for models who have similar features as yourself (same hair color, skin tone, eye shape). Also take a look at your makeup artist’s portfolio and pick looks they’ve created!

The only way to do great work is to love what you do!

In the start of my career, this is one advice given to me that stuck in my head. No matter what you decide to do in life, you have to LOVE and be PASSIONATE about it!
